MEET THE SURGEON

                          J. L. SOSA, M.D., F. A. C. S.

Dr. Sosa graduated from the University of South Florida School of Medicine with honors. He completed his surgery training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Subsequently he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and belongs to multiple medical societies. Dr. Sosa has published multiple articles in Laparoscopic surgery and is a recognized leader in the field of minimally invasive surgery. He is committed to a program designed to help patients get control of their weight problem and lead a healthy active life style.
